Deep experience leading high-impact partnerships
I lead the cross-functional work that drives life science and biopharma partnerships to achieve the strategic intent of the deal. Whether through alliances, post-merger integrations, out-licensing or spin-outs, I help team members do their part with confidence and help leadership know that post-deal execution is on track.

What I do
I manage the operational execution of biopharma partnerships, leading cross-functional teams through the work that brings into reality the strategic intent of the deal. Depending on what a situation needs, that can mean running joint governance, steering a transition, or building the systems that keep a whole portfolio coherent. The common thread is the same: I bring order, pace, and confidence to complex collaborations involving many functions and many people.
Diverse experience on tap
Broad experience working with academics and industry, startups, and Fortune 500 companies, while advancing innovations in bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, platform biotechnologies, devices, software, and pharmaceuticals.
Lead across functions
I manage through influence across teams spanning R&D, legal, finance, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and commercial, and every level from subject matter experts to the C-suite.
Work the full lifecycle
From pre-deal diligence and kick-off, through the post-close transition, to the wind-down when a partnership has run its course or has an opportunity to expand.
Plug-and-play readiness
Experienced enough to drop into a challenging situation and lead from the start, quickly ensuring that a partnership is moving forward with strategic traction.

The range
Two decades of partnerships have spanned the full range of structures, stages, and counterparties. That breadth is what lets me step into an unfamiliar situation and lead without a long runway.
Working group leader or supporting team member. Drop me into a complex partnering situation and I will quickly help move the collaboration toward its goals, and leave the organization stronger and better prepared for its next deal.
How I work
Engagements are scoped and tailored to the need at hand, often for three to twelve months: whether a simple patent license or a complex post-merger integration, covering a personnel leave, or shoring up staffing for an ambitious and successful deal team. Contract work can be structured in a modular way under a master services agreement with defined SOWs as needed.
Why this work
Two things excite me about this work. First, the chance to help bring new technologies to the market and new medicines to patients; the partnerships I support are part of how science reaches the people who need it. Second, the satisfaction of helping a team find its footing or to improve on its strengths and then to grow its partnering capability as a real strategic strength for the company.
Credentials
Before founding Voyageur Alliance Advisory, I led alliance and integration management at companies across the biopharma spectrum, from a venture-backed drug-discovery biotech to a publicly traded rare-disease company and a global pharmaceutical group, as well as the technology-partnering office of a major academic research institute.
